Yellow Notice Is Sent To Switzerland, The Police Monitor Search For Ridwan Kamil’s Son

JAKARTA - The National Police through the International Relations Division (Divhubinter) has sent a yellow notice to the Swiss police in the process of searching for Emmeril Khan Mumtadz, the son of West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil who was reported missing due to being swept away by the current in the Aare River. That way, the Police will actively monitor the progress of the search process.

"The (yellow notice, red) has been sent. Proactive steps have been taken by the National Police," said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo when confirmed, Monday, May 30.

The yellow notice sent contains the complete identity of Emmeril. Then, the cause of the son of the Governor of West Java disappeared on May 26.

With the completion of the correspondence process, continued Dedi, the Police will continue to monitor all developments from the search results. Thus, all information that will be obtained will be conveyed to the family according to the mechanism and rules.

"In principle, the National Police in collaboration with Interpol, the Swiss police and the local Indonesian Embassy continue to actively monitor developments in the field," said Dedi.

The son of West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil, Emmeril Khan Mumtadz or Eril, was reported missing on Thursday, May 26 yesterday. He is said to have been swept away by the current while swimming in the Aare River, Bern, Switzerland.

The Police, who are members of Interpol, will file a yellow notice to speed up the search process.

Yellow notice is the process of requesting assistance to Interpol to search for or find missing persons.

In addition, yellow notices are used to locate minors and assist the identification process.
