Daud Jordan Will 'fight Battle' With Thai Boxers To Defend The Asian Title In Jakarta

JAKARTA - Indonesian boxer, Daud Jordan, will return to the ring on July 1. He will appear at Balai Sarbini, Jakarta, to defend the WBC Asian Boxing Council Silver title in the super light division (63.5kg).

Daud Jordan will face Thai boxer Panya Uthok. This was confirmed by the President Director of MPPRO International, Gustiantira Alandy, to Antara.

For David this is a postponed match. The match was originally scheduled to take place at the World Siam Stadium, Bangkapi, Bangkok, Thailand, March 4.

However, it had to be rescheduled after two days before the match, Daud tested positive for COVID-19 upon arrival in Thailand.

Besides Daud Jordan, Ongen Saknosiwi will also return to the ring to defend the WBC Asia Boxing Council Continental featherweight belt (57.1kg). He also faced the White Elephant Country boxer, Jirawat Thammachot.

It should be noted that Ongen won the championship belt after winning a fourth round knockout (KO) over Rattakorn Tassaworn at the World Siam Stadium, last March 4.
