Mayor Of Medan Prepares Cultural Park For Creative Economy Actors

MEDAN - Medan Mayor Bobby Nasution has prepared a cultural park facility which is planned to be a forum for creative economy players to introduce and develop creative industries in this area.

"We provide facilities for creative economy actors so that they have a place for creativity and invite the youth community in Medan City," said Bobby Nasution in Medan, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, May 25.

This was done, he continued, as a form of support from the Medan City Government for creative economy actors in the capital city of North Sumatra Province.

His party together with the creative economy committee of the City of Medan have also directly inspected the location of the cultural park which is located on Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan Medan, Tuesday (24/5).

In the location which has an area of 8,216 square meters, the Mayor saw the surrounding conditions and confirmed one by one the rooms in the cultural park.

"This is one of our efforts to support creative industry players. Hopefully, the existing community can awaken the spirit of the cultural park in Medan City," he explained.

With this forum for creative economy actors, he continued, his party hopes that the Medan City creative economy committee will be able to support the growth of creative industry players in this area.

"If this cultural park has been repaired and is good later, of course various events can be held in this place," said Mayor Bobby.
