Raid At Depok Detention Center, Officers Find Modified Sharp Weapons
DEPOK - Officers found a number of sharp objects during a raid at the Depok detention center. As a result, sharp objects were found in the prison kept by prisoners.
Head of the Depok Detention Center, Andi Gunawan, said that his party held a raid on Monday, May 23, the night.
"We carry out raids to clear the detention center of prohibited items," Andi told VOI, Tuesday, May 24.
"Yes, it is true that scissors, broken glass and stainless steel were found which were made sharp," he continued.
Regarding this, he said he would continue to carry out sterilization in the residential rooms of the inmates (prisoners). In addition, it strives to disseminate information related to the applicable regulations.
"Goods that do not comply with the provisions cannot be allowed to enter the residential block area," he concluded.
