Good News From The Fiesta Nugget Producers Owned By The Thai Conglomerate Cheavaranont Brothers, They Will Divide IDR 1.77 Trillion Dividend
JAKARTA - The poultry and processed food company owned by the Thai conglomerates Cheavaranont brothers, PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk (CPIN) will distribute dividends from net profit earned in 2021. This decision was approved at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) held today, Monday May 23.
President Director of Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tjiu Thomas Effendy announced that today's AGM has agreed to distribute cash dividends of Rp108 per share or a total of Rp1.77 trillion.
"In the AGM it was decided that the company will distribute cash dividends of Rp. 108 per share or 48.91 percent of the profit for the year and a total of Rp. 1.77 trillion," said Thomas.
In addition to agreeing on the distribution of dividends, the AGMS also ratified the company's financial statements ending on December 31, 2021. The schedule and procedures for the distribution of dividends will be announced by the company through the Indonesia Stock Exchange.
Based on the financial report as of December 31, 2021, CPIN scored net sales of Rp. 51.69 trillion, up 21.58 percent compared to 2020 of Rp. 42.51 trillion.
Cost of goods sold also increased to Rp43.55 trillion from Rp34.26 trillion. This made gross profit slightly corrected from Rp. 8.25 trillion to Rp. 8.13 trillion.
Meanwhile, profit for the year attributable to owners of the parent entity Charoen Pokphand Indonesia fell 5.90 percent year-on-year (YoY) to Rp3.61 trillion in 2021, from the previous Rp3.84 trillion in 2020.
