Adds Share Ownership In BSD, Company Owned By Conglomerate Eka Tjipta Widjaja Spends Up To IDR 63 Billion

JAKARTA - PT Paraga Artamida as the main shareholder of PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk or BSD, has increased its ownership in the shares with the code BSDE. Its value reaches more than IDR 63 billion.

This information was stated in a letter signed by Paraga Artamida Director Hermawan Wijaya to the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), Saturday, May 21. In the letter, Hermawan explained, Paraga bought 69.09 million BSDE shares.

"The purchase will take place on May 9-19 2022 with an average purchase price of IDR 913.4 per share," wrote Hermawan.

Hermawan said that the purpose of the company owned by conglomerate Eka Tjipta Widjaja to increase its share ownership in this property company was investment. Moreover, Paraga is the holder of more than 32 percent of BSDE's shares.

For this transaction, Paraga Artamida's ownership in BSDE shares reached 7.03 billion from the previous 6.96 billion shares.

So far this year, BSDE's shares reached the highest closing level of IDR 1,060 on January 4, 2022, with the lowest closing level of IDR 890 on January 27, 2022. Meanwhile, until the close of trading on Friday, May 20, BSDE's shares were at the level of IDR 920.
