Asahan Police Prevents Circulation Of 1 Kg Of Shabu And 380 Ecstasy Pills
MEDAN - The Asahan Police thwarted a plan to circulate one kilogram of methamphetamine (kg) and 380 ecstasy pills by arresting four suspected perpetrators in this case.
"The narcotics case weighing one kg of crystal methamphetamine and 280 pills of ecstasy is the result of the disclosure of the Asahan Police Narcotics Unit from two different cases with four perpetrators," said Asahan Police Chief AKBP Putu Yudha Prawira, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, May 18.
Putu said that in the first case, the disclosure of methamphetamine with a gross weight of 503.6 grams and 280 ecstasy pills occurred on Thursday (18/4). The disclosures were made in two different locations, namely on Jalan Anwar Idris, Gading Village, Datuk Bandar Subdistrict, Tanjungbalai City and Jalan SM Raja Medan.
The police arrested two perpetrators, namely IP (35) a resident of Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Tanjungbalai City and HS (36) a resident of Jalan Aman, Tanjung Balai City, North Sumatra.
"Evidence was seized in the form of two large plastic clips suspected of containing methamphetamine with a gross weight of 503.6 grams, 280 ecstasy pills, one blue Samsung cellphone, one black plastic bag, Rp100,000,000 in cash and a black sling bag," he said.
While the second case, the case of narcotics type methamphetamine with a gross weight of 513.94 grams which occurred Thursday (12/5) at around 01.00 WIB at the Amanda Hotel, Jalan Sutomo, Tanjungbalai City.
The two perpetrators were AN (19) a resident of Jalan Sudirman, Deli Serdang Regency and DSP (38) a resident of Jalan Perjuangan, Deli Serdang Regency.
The police confiscated evidence in the form of five large plastic clips suspected of containing methamphetamine with a gross weight of 513.94 grams, one black plastic, five white envelopes, one Vivo brand android mobile phone, and one mobile phone unit.
The four perpetrators were charged with Article 114 paragraph 2 Subs Article 112 paragraph 2 in conjunction with Article 132 paragraph 1 of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics.
