Parents Of Victims Of Persecution In Tangsel Kagert See Their Children Abused Through WA Status
TANGSEL - The case of violence and bullying against MZA (16), a resident of Jaletreng Village, Serpong, South Tangerang, was revealed after the victim's parents saw the WhatsApp (WA) status of their child's cellphone.
"Initially from my child's WhatsApp (WA) status update. There is a video of my son being beaten," said MZA's mother, Nuryanah when confirmed, Wednesday, May 18.
Nuryana admitted that at first her son was reluctant to talk about the events that had happened to him. He even tends to cover up the acts of abuse committed by his friends.
After finally being questioned, the victim finally told her family about the violent incident.
"So I was accompanied by a friend at 21.00 playing Mobile Legend. Continue until the incident (persecution) occurs," said Nuryana.
"In the morning I just found out that my child was injured," he continued.
According to his son's confession, the act of abuse was carried out in a neighbor's house. At the time of the incident, the perpetrators used the victim's cellphone to record the violence.
"So I recorded it with my son's cellphone, when my son was beaten, his friend's cellphone was actually held by his friend. Then he turned it over," he said.
Knowing the incident, the victim's family immediately reported the incident to the South Tangerang Police Headquarters, Tuesday, May 18.
"I complained to my brother, I reported to the RT and RW and also reported to the police," he concluded.
Meanwhile, the South Tangerang Police Chief, AKBP Sarly Sollu, confirmed the report. But he refused to explain the case further.
"It is true that there are reports (of cases of violence)," said Sarly when he was confirmed, Wednesday, May 19.
