BBC Shamefully Made A Blunder In The Chelsea Vs Liverpool Match: Highlight The Banner Of Mohamed Salah Picture With Background Of Camels Having Sex
JAKARTA - Football supporters were shocked to see BBC television accidentally targeting Mohamed Salah's banner with the background of two camels having sex.
In the FA Cup final between Chelsea vs Liverpool on Saturday night, there was a caricature banner of Salah with two camels having sex next to the pyramid.
It's not clear what fans meant by providing the Egyptian player with the two camels in the background.
However, the BBC's camera, which was originally highlighting the banner, immediately shifted to the caricature of Salah placed in the center of the circle.
Salah had to be withdrawn due to injury in the first half of the FA Cup final. But when Salah was replaced by Diogo Jota, football fans did not like the banner that was shown.
"Come on has anyone seen Salah's banner with camels on the background," said one fan in surprise, as quoted from the Daily Star, Sunday.
"Not sure the cameraman noticed the camels making love in the background of that Salah banner," added another.
While a third tweeted: "Someone has a Salah banner in the desert but with camels fighting each other in the background!"
A fourth joked: "Lol, TV focuses on Salah's caricature and doesn't see camels having sex in the background!"
Salah was forced off the pitch, and Jermaine Jenas told the BBC: "This is a big concern, Salah is not the type of player to just sit around.
"He's played a lot of games, a lot of minutes, he's had a long season - I know most Liverpool players have done that but also put the Africa Cup of Nations into it."
Liverpool beat Chelsea to end a 16-year FA Cup drought with victory on penalties.
