Ustaz Fahim Values Deddy Corbuzier Learned Islam Through Liberals, Gus Miftah: My Benchmark Is Liberal. Is That Right?

JAKARTA - Ustaz Fahim Mawardi did not miss his criticism of Deddy Corbuzier following podcast content that featured gay couples some time ago. Deddy himself has apologized and taken down content from his Youtube @Deddy Corbuzier.

In his criticism, Ustaz Fahim actually said that Deddy had converted to Islam through the wrong 'door'. Who Ustaz Fahim insinuated was not mentioned publicly.

Deddy himself is known to have embraced Islam on Friday, June 21, 2019. Two sentences of the creed spoken by Deddy were guided by Miftah Maulana Habiburrahman or better known as Gus Miftah.

"What we say is conscience, that we deeply regret Deddy's conversion to Islam. I said that Deddy converted to Islam at the wrong door" Ustaz Fahim Mawardi through a video, Thursday, May 12.

Ustaz Fahim's statement then received a response from Gus Miftah which was conveyed via an upload on his official Instagram account, @gusmiftah seen Thursday evening.

"Please Ustadz guidance, what is my benchmark for liberalism?" said Gusmiftah commenting on online news about Ustaz Fahim's statement.

At the end of his response, Gus Miftah mentioned Deddy's account so that he could be invited. "Bro @mastercorbuzier invite the noble ustadz," he said briefly.

Back to Ustaz Fahim. According to him, Deddy Corbuzier converted to Islam through liberals. "There are liberal people who have converted to Islam, people who don't really care about the name Shari'a and like to make fun of religious issues and so on," he said.
