KPK Council Ensures Investigation Of Alleged Receipt Of MotoGP Tickets For Lili Pintauli Continues
JAKARTA - The Supervisory Board of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has confirmed that the investigation into the alleged ethical violation by the Deputy Chairperson of the KPK, Lili Pintauli Siregar, continues. Lili is suspected of violating ethics by accepting accommodation and tickets for the Mandalika MotoGP from PT Pertamina (Persero).
This assurance was conveyed by a member of the KPK Supervisory Board, Syamsuddin Haris. He said the investigation process was still ongoing.
"Still in process," said Syamsuddin Haris in a written statement to reporters quoted on Thursday, May 12.
Syamsuddin did not elaborate further on the process he was referring to. However, he said, this process was indeed hampered by holidays and Eid leave. As previously reported, Lili was suspected of receiving gratuities in the form of hotel accommodations to tickets to watch the Mandalika MotoGP from a state-owned company who was later named a member of the KPK Supervisory Board Syamsuddin Haris, PT Pertamina (Persero).
This complaint was then followed up by the KPK Council by asking for clarification from a number of parties. One that has been clarified is the President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero) Nicke Widyawati.
Nicke was questioned by the KPK Supervisory Board on April 27. However, he did not say anything after being examined.
In addition to checking Nicke, Tumpak Hatorangan et al have asked related parties to bring proof of booking accommodation at Amber Lombok Beach Resort and Mandalika MotoGP tickets at the Grandstand Premium Zone A-Red.
