Robbery Of TNI Member Was Planned: Police Examine Nine Suspects Related To Drug Use
JAKARTA - Head of the Sekatan Metro Jakarta Police's Criminal Investigation Unit, Grand Commissioner Adjutant Ridwan Soplanit, said he would conduct an examination of nine suspects in the robbery of two Indonesian Army (AD) soldiers from the Yonarhanud 10/ABC Kodam Jaya unit.
The nine robbers had the initials MRH (20), MRM (19), RM (24), NB (16), FR (17), TP(21), MAH (15), AM (19) and R (19). The police know that before the gang took action, they first held a liquor party in the Bulungan area, South Jakarta.
"If (the use of) drugs is still in the process, maybe it will be checked later," Ridwan said when confirmed, Wednesday, May 11.
According to Ridwan, the condition of the perpetrators being unconscious because they were under the influence of alcohol, might have made them think of committing the reckless act of thievery.

"Alcohol first then they walked together with the motorcycle group until they met the two victims, but it was all under the influence of alcohol," he said.
He said that there were several perpetrators who wanted to seize the motorbike. Then they compact to do it together.
They finally decided to go around looking for targets until they finally found two victims riding a motorbike. However, they do not know if the target is a TNI Army
"There are those who have ideas and until there are other ideas to do things together in a compact manner. (Victim) is not wearing uniforms (TNI AD)," he concluded.
