40.96 Million People Have Been Vaccinated Against The Third Dose
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health reports that the population of Indonesia who has received the third dose of vaccine (booster) has reached 40,967,039 or an increase of 24,509.
As reported by Antara, Friday, May 6, the addition of this third dose of recipients after 165,613,761 people received the second dose of the vaccine. There were an additional 12,828 people who received the second dose of the vaccine today.
Meanwhile, the first dose of the vaccine has reached 199,346,528. The government targets the national vaccination target to reach 208,265,720 people.
Previously, the government set the COVID-19 vaccination as a requirement for traveling back and forth for this year's Eid, in which people who have received up to a booster dose no longer have to show antigen or PCR test results.
Meanwhile, those who have just received the second dose of vaccination must include a negative result of the COVID-19 antigen test, while only those receiving the first vaccination must include a negative result of the PCR test.

To increase the number of vaccination fulfillment nationally, the government and other agencies provide vaccination booths at many homecoming posts as well as mosques and terminals/stations.
The government estimates that at least 85 million people will travel back and forth to their respective hometowns to celebrate Eid al-Fitr 1433 H.
Previously, the government also did not tire of reminding the public to continue to carry out health protocols during the homecoming trip as well as when celebrating Eid al-Fitr and staying in touch.
