Until Noon, 672 Travelers Depart From Kampung Rambutan Terminal

JAKARTA - A total of 53 buses carrying 672 travelers from Kampung Rambutan Terminal in East Jakarta on D+1 Lebaran (Idul Fitri) 1443 Hjriah.

"Today, from 07.00 WIB to 14.00 WIB, we will depart 53 vehicles with 672 passengers," said the Team Commander of the Kampung Rambutan Bus Terminal, Mulyono, when met by ANTARA at the Kampung Rambutan Terminal in East Jakarta, Wednesday, May 4.

Even though on D+1 Lebaran, residents are still enthusiastic about going home through the Kampung Rambutan Terminal to various destinations, especially to West Java, Central Java, East Java, and Sumatra.

For the purpose of Sumatra, homecomers are more dominant in going to Padang City in West Sumatra and Palembang City in South Sumatra.

From ANTARA's observations, there were still a number of homecomers filling the waiting room at the Kampung Rambutan Terminal, both those who were going home with their families or those who were going home alone.

"Although it is already past Eid, the enthusiasm of the homecomers who depart is still there," he said.

Meanwhile, for passengers on the return flow on H+1 Lebaran at the Kampung Rambutan Bus Terminal, it still doesn't look crowded this Wednesday.

Mulyono estimates that the peak of the backflow will occur on May 6 or May 7, 2022 before the end of the long holiday and return to work as usual on May 9, 2022.

Meanwhile, the peak of the homecoming flow at the Kampung Rambutan Bus Terminal occurred on D-3 Lebaran or 29 April 2022, where as many as 131 buses departed from the terminal carrying 2,791 passengers.

In the first Eid or May 2, 2022, as many as 87 buses carried 954 passengers. On the second Eid or 3 May 2022, as many as 94 buses departed carrying 1,216 passengers from the terminal.

While on H-1 Lebaran or May 1, 2022 as many as 132 buses departed carrying 1,254 passengers. On D-2 Lebaran or April 30, 2022, as many as 131 buses departed from the terminal carrying 2,015 passengers.
