Welcoming Eid Holidays, PT Transjakarta Reactivates Tour Buses

JAKARTA – Seeing the great public interest during this year's Lebaran holiday, the DKI Jakarta Regional Owned Enterprise (BUMD), PT Transport Jakarta (TransJakarta), operates a tour bus. This is also done in order to enliven the Eid 1443 Hijri holiday.

Head of the Corporate Communications and CSR Department, Iwan Samariansyah, said that the tour bus operation will start from May 3-8, 2022. There are two tourist bus services, namely the New Jakarta route (BW2) and the Skyscraper route (BW4).

"In order to enliven this Lebaran holiday, we are bringing back two tour bus services to accommodate people who want to travel to locations served by the two routes," said Iwan Samariansyah in Jakarta, Tuesday, May 3 as quoted by Antara.

Iwan added that the operations of the two routes had previously been temporarily suspended as a form of support for the government in breaking the chain of the spread of COVID-19. "The public is still required to comply with the applicable health protocols (prokes) while using TransJakarta services," said Iwan.

The two services will serve the community from 10.00 - 21.00 WIB. Customers who want to enjoy the tour bus service are still required to tap in and tap out the Electronic Money Card (KUE) on the Tap on Bus (TOB) device at a rate of Rp.
