Ridwan Kamil: Rest Area Issues Become An Evaluation Of The 2022 Homecoming
BANDUNG - West Java Governor M Ridwan Kamil said the issue of rest areas on toll roads was an evaluation in the implementation of the 2022 Eid homecoming flow.
As is known, the government appealed to residents who were going home not to linger while in toll road rest areas.
"In the rest area, because the places are limited and there are lots of people who need a lot, there is a queue that takes the shoulder of the road. Now that has been evaluated," he said, quoted by Antara, Monday, May 2.
The second evaluation related to the Lebaran 2022 homecoming flow was the peak of the homecoming flow which took place on April 30, 2022.
"The peak was on 29 (April 2022) 160,000 vehicles entered, uh, on 30 (April 2022) there were 160,000 vehicles (cars) that entered and there were 140 thousand motorcycles on the same date. So the peak was passed on the 30th and This evaluation will be a guide during the return flow," he said.
Ridwan Kamil who was accompanied by his wife, Atalia Praratya Kamil, said about his planned activities on the first day of Eid in 2022.
"And personally, after this, I will visit my mother. Alhamdulillah, until now she is still in good health. Then I will visit Pak Solihin GP, the former Governor of West Java who is still healthy," he said.
