Winner Of The Spanish MotoGP, Francesco Bagnaia Ends This Year's Title Famine

JAKARTA – Ducati's Francesco Bagnaia won the MotoGP of Spain 2022. This is the first podium for the Italian rider this season.

Bagnaia recorded a time of 41 minutes 00.554 seconds at the Jerez Circuit, Spain, on Sunday, May 1. He beat defending champion Fabio Quartararo who finished second +0.285 seconds.

Meanwhile, Aleix Espargaro successfully finished the race in third place. Rounding out the top five are Marc Marquez and Jack Miller

Bagnaia is the eleventh different rider to climb the podium this season out of six races that have been held. The feat at Jerez was Bagnaia's best this year. He managed to end his title drought.

Previously, Bagnaia only carved the achievement of finishing fifth in MotoGP Argentina and the United States.

He dominated most of the race at Jerez. He started the race from pole position and managed to maintain that position until the end of the race.

This result automatically makes the standings even tighter. For that reason, it is not surprising that the title race can occur until the end of this season's draw

The next 2022 MotoGP race series will be held in France on May 15. This race will be held at the Bugatti Circuit.
