Jayapura Police Alert 200 Personnel To Secure Eid Prayers

JAYAPURA - Jayapura City Police deployed 200 personnel to secure the Eid prayer 1443 H in Jayapura, Papua.

Jayapura Police Chief, Commissioner Gustav R. Urbinas, in Jayapura on Saturday, April 30, said that there were 150 officers to secure Eid prayers.

"Meanwhile, 50 other personnel at the police station and police in the ranks will carry out mobile monitoring", he said, quoted by Antara.

According to Commissioner, there are 90 places for Eid prayers that will be guarded by personnel and those who carry out mobile monitoring.

"We carried out direct security in 30 places, while the others were carried out by mobile monitoring", he said.

He explained that security was immediately prioritized for Eid prayers in the field where there were a large number of congregations. "Eid al-Fitr prayers in the field will be carried out with tight security", he explained.
