Confessed To Be Buying Satay, This Woman Was Arrested By Officers Because Of Her Suspicious Appearance On The Side Of The Road

JAKARTA - She claimed to be named Sely, from Tasik, West Java. Sely was secured by officers into a cage car belonging to the East Jakarta Social Service on Friday, April 23, last night.

"I'm not staying, I'm eating, I want to buy satay to eat", said the woman in the jeans jacket from the caged car.

The middle-aged woman was arrested after being caught on the side of the road in the Cipinang area, Bekasi Timur Raya Street, East Jakarta.

"I happened to be ordering satay, so that's why I'm okay. Because I'm not wrong", she said.

Although she denied that she was not a night worker, the officers kept the woman safe.

"I want to eat, eat satay. I'm from the child's house. I just came back from Cempaka Putih", she said.

With her heavily dressed face, the joint officers suspected that the woman was a night worker who allegedly wanted to sell herself on the roadside.

"It just so happened that when there was a raid, I didn't stay", she said.

Sely was secured by officers along with other women that night. Even though she doesn't claim to be a night woman, Sely will still undergo coaching at the Cipayung Social Home, East Jakarta.

Head of the Operations Section (Kasiop) of the East Jakarta Civil Service Police Unit, Badrudin said the women who were caught were taken to the Cipayung social home, East Jakarta.

"They have been taken to Cipayung, they were tested for antigen swabs at the Cipayung District Health Center first. If the person concerned is negative, then they immediately go to the Cipayung Orphanage to undergo training", he said when contacted by VOI, Sunday 24 April.
