PPATK Continues To Monitor Illegal Investment Platform Transactions

JAKARTA - Head of the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK) Ivan Yustiavandana said that he would continue to monitor illegal investment platform transactions that have the potential to harm the public.

However, he said that he could not immediately freeze the illegal investment transaction and accused him of fraud, so sometimes the blocking was only carried out after falling victims. The Millenial Madjoe Forum webinar was quoted from ANTARA, Saturday, April 23. According to him, several illegal investment platforms that have been blocked are only the tip of the iceberg of the many illegal investment platforms that are still used by the public.

"PPATK sees that there is always something bigger behind all this. And PPATK is still working and coordinating continuously with law enforcement friends, in this case the Police," he said.

The public is asked to invest logically or not to be tempted by unreasonable profit offers on legal platforms or registered with OJK or CoFTRA.

If people invest their money in illegal platforms, people have a greater risk of experiencing losses.

If the public invests in the platform with the intention of committing a crime of money laundering, the community also has the potential to be prosecuted by Law Enforcement Officials (APH). "The truth is that public money that is obtained legally is invested in legal investment platforms. such as commodity stock price volatility," he said.
