JAKARTA - Supporting the development of sharia economy and finance in Indonesia, Bank DKI through the Sharia Business Unit has become the first bank to publish the Maqashid Sharia Mushaf of the Qur'an. The preparation of the Al-Qur'an Mushaf was written by the Sharia Supervisory Board of Bank DKI and equipped with economic themes, sharia finance and accompanied by authentic hadiths on muamalah, fiqhiyah rules and fatwas of the MUI National Sharia Council.
"The preparation of this Quranic Mushaf is expected to be a contribution from Bank DKI for the country," said Retail and Sharia Director of Bank DKI, Babay Parid Wazdi at the launch of the Koran Mushaf at the Istiqlal Mosque, Jakarta, Friday, April 22.
On the occasion, the Director of Retail and Sharia of Bank DKI, Babay Parid Wazdi, handed over the Mushaf of the Koran to the Assistant for People's Welfare of DKI Jakarta, Uus Kuswanto witnessed by the Grand Imam of the Istiqlal Mosque, KH. Nasaruddin Umar and Acting Head of BP BUMD DKI Jakarta, Budi Purnama. The event was also attended by a number of DKI Jakarta Provincial Government officials, as well as the Directors of Bank DKI and BUMD DKI Jakarta.
Furthermore, Babay Parid conveyed that Bank DKI's support for the launch of the Maqashid Syariah Qur'anic Mushaf was a form of Bank DKI's concern for the development of Islamic finance in Indonesia. According to him, the Maqashid Qur'an Mushaf is one of the efforts to introduce Islamic finance to the wider community.
He hopes that the Qur'anic manuscripts can contribute to the science of economics and Islamic finance and become a reference for the world of education.
"We encourage people to implement these verses, that there is a virtue in doing business. Prophet Muhammad SAW, for example, has been doing business in accordance with Islamic sharia since he was a child," said Babay Parid.
The distribution of the Qur'an Mushaf is carried out in collaboration with the Global Spirit of Ummah Foundation as a waqf container and will be distributed throughout Indonesia. For people who will be waqf at the foundation, they must fill out an online form by filling in their name, address, number of orders and the nominal value to be donated.
Payments for waqf of the Qur'an can be made through the provided QRISJakOne Mobile Bank DKI or other applications that are part of the QRIS Indonesia network. On this occasion, Bank DKI also distributed CSR programs in the form of providing compensation to 1,000 orphans assisted by the Istiqlal Mosque.
Mosque Community Financial Digitization
Babay Parid said that apart from publishing the Qur'an Mushaf, his party also supports the non-cash payment system through Bank DKI's QRIS at various mosques in DKI Jakarta, including the Istiqlal Mosque. By becoming a QRIS partner of Bank DKI, mosques in collaboration with Bank DKI can make managing congregational financial transactions easier.
Mosque administrators can monitor payment transactions and financial transactions in real time and online. From the congregation side, infaq and alms payments are made non-cash, so pilgrims only need to use their smartphones to make payments and automatically enter the mosque's account.
People who want to donate or donate can use the scan to pay method using the JakOne Mobile application. Simply open the JakOne Mobile application and select "Scan To Pay" and users will automatically be directed to enter the desired nominal for the donation account.
Charity payment methods or donations via the QRIS scan method can be done on the QR code with the QRIS logo. Currently, Bank DKI has provided QR Codes for more than 2,928 mosques spread across various areas in Jakarta.
