Barca Not Shrunken Faces Sociedad, Which Is In A Positive Trend
JAKARTA - Week 33 of the 2021/2022 Spanish League will feature a match between Real Sociedad vs Barcelona. Ahead of this match, Sociedad as the host is in a positive trend while Barcelona is in the opposite position.
Even so, the Blaugrana coach Xavi Hernandez did not necessarily shrivel up. He said his troops were ready to take on the host's match at the Anoeta Stadium on Friday, April 22 at 02.30 WIB.
"Sociedad are doing well, but we are ready to serve. We wanted to react after the last two disappointing games. Of course we want to get back to winning ways," Xavi said as reported by Football Espana.
Xavi admitted that Barcelona played away to Sociedad with the mission to rise after losing the last two matches in all competitions.
The Blaugrana have just been knocked out of the Europa League quarter-finals after losing to Eintracht Frankfurt 2-3 in the second leg match at Camp Nou in the middle of last week. After that at the weekend, Barcelona again lost 0-1 at home when they hosted Cadiz in the Spanish League continued week.
While on the other hand, their potential opponent, Real Sociedad, is in a good trend. The Basque side are unbeaten in their last five league games.
