7 Eid Homecoming Posts For 2022 To Be Built In Malang, Equipped With Workshop Facilities
MALANG - Malang City Police Ops Division Head Kompol Supiyan said his party was ready to welcome the 2022 Eid homecoming. A total of seven homecoming posts were built in the Malang City area, East Java.
Supiyan explained, of the seven posts, six of them are security posts and the other is a community service post during the 2022 Eid homecoming.
"The function of the post is roughly the same, but at the service post, there will be a number of other facilities, such as for health care," Supiyan said in a written statement, Wednesday, April 20.
Supiyan added, the six security posts for Lebaran homecoming will be placed at crucial points in the Malang City area, namely at the intersection of Universitas Brawijaya (Soekarno Hatta Street) and the three-way intersection of Borobudur Street.
Then, security posts will also be prepared at the three Sulfat intersections, the three West Kacuk intersections, the Malang City Square area and an integrated security post at the Madyopuro toll exit. Meanwhile, service posts are prepared at Malang City Train Station.
"We will concentrate the officers on these seven points," he said.
The officers at the security post will also monitor and check a number of conditions for this Lebaran trip, such as whether the travelers have received the third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
"The function and role of the officers at the pospam will monitor and carry out random checks. For this Eid, according to existing regulations, there are no restrictions," he said.
In addition, the security post is also planned to be equipped with a number of facilities that can help travelers if there are problems with their vehicles while traveling.
"Facilities are also prepared to help travelers who experience flat tires, or are damaged, we will complete them later, such as workshop facilities there," he said.
The government has set a national holiday for Eid Al-Fitr 1443 Hijri May 2-3, 2022, while collective leave falls on April 29, 4, 5, and May 6, 2022. The government estimates that around 85 million people will go home for Eid 2022.
There are a number of requirements for travelers, including for people who have just received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, they are still required to attach a PCR test result that is valid 3x24 hours before traveling.
Meanwhile, for people who have received the second dose, they only need to attach the results of the 1x24 hour antigen test or 3x24 hour PCR. Meanwhile, people who have received a booster or booster dose do not need to attach test results as a condition of travel.
Currently, in the Malang City area, there are 28,747 positive confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 21 active cases. Of the total confirmed cases, 27,485 people were reported to have recovered, 1,241 people were declared dead.
