Secretly Drifting Away, Persebaya Surabaya's Composition Of Players Is 95 Percent!
JAKARTA - Persebaya Surabaya seems calm in the transfer market for the 2022/2023 Liga 1 players. But apparently, the management of Bajul Ijo carried out an "underground movement".
Persebaya Surabaya coach, Aji Santoso said, the composition of players for next season has reached 95 percent!
"The hunt for players is almost over, both foreign and local players," said Aji Santoso, quoted by Antara.
For foreign players, Persebaya Surabaya is said to have reached an agreement with three new foreign players. Aji Santoso said that the three of them had never played in Indonesia.
"Only (Leo) Lelis has played in Indonesia. Others have not," said the former Persela Lamongan coach.
These three new foreign players are expected to come to Indonesia at the end of May 2021. Two of them are players from Brazil and one from Japan.
Although it will only arrive in May, Aji Santoso is not worried about the condition of his foreign players later. He said the players were still competing with their respective clubs.
"They are not unemployed because they are competing. I am very intense in communicating with all of them," he said.
Meanwhile, Persebaya Surabaya is also still waiting for an answer from former HNK Rijeka player, Brylian Aldama. Two players who are also being approached are Muhammad Salman Alfarid and Samuel Christianson Simanjuntak.
