Gmail Provides Focus Features For iOS That Can Guarantee Your Digital Peace

JAKARTA - Gmail is one of the best email services that is also easy to operate. This messaging service from Google offers secure, reliable email from one of the world's largest internet companies.

But anyone who uses Gmail for work, via Google Workspace, knows how painful it can be to receive an after-hours email from a boss that pops up on the screen and breaks our spirits.

Google has listened to the complaints, and recently announced an update to Gmail that works with Apple's new Focus mode for iOS, one of the best features for getting peace and quiet digitally.

Reported by Tech Radar, Gmail can now work with these profiles, either automatically generated by Apple or customized by the user. This new profile can ensure you get the notifications that only your users want.

"Now you can specify which Google Chat and Gmail contacts you still want notifications from when your iOS device is in Focus mode," explains Google, as quoted by Tech Radar. "This is useful in situations where you need to limit screen time, but don't want to miss important messages while other notifications are silenced."

After the pandemic has forced everyone to work from home, or at least some work from home, having digital peace has become very important.

When there are no clear boundaries between work and home environments, it's very important to ensure that notifications don't come in during "your" time.

Managing notifications, especially on iOS prior to the latest update, is actually a bit of a hassle. You have to mute everything or go into Settings every time.

Apple made the process a lot easier with iOS 15 and it's highly recommended to set up a few different Focus profiles to get the ball rolling, especially if you don't have a work phone to turn off.

Setting it up can be a bit of a hassle, but once you get past it, it's incredibly simple – and perfect for maintaining digital peace of mind without missing important updates.
