Blizzard President Denies Plans To Launch NFT In Game
JAKARTA - The world of NFT has grown more and more nowadays, many big game developers and publishers have introduced NFT in their games, such as Ubisoft and Square Enix.
Blizzard Entertainment recently sent out a survey asking users about their potential interest in NFTs and cryptocurrencies being introduced in Blizzard's Activision games.
This poll has certainly led to speculation that the company may have future plans for the NFT. However, recently, responding to a report from VGC on Twitter, the president of Blizzard Entertainment, Mike Ybarra, denied the speculation, saying, "Nobody is doing NFT."

Others in the gaming industry have also been vocally hesitant to enter the NFT space like Valve and Xbox, while several other industries still don't seem to have any direct NFT-related plans, such as Sega, EA, and Nintendo.
Blizzard, on the other hand, announced that the reveal of the World of Warcraft expansion will take place online on April 19. Blizzard has also released a gameplay trailer for one of the main additions to Overwatch 2, Sojourn.
