Facilitating Homecoming Passengers, Kampung Rambutan Terminal Will Hold COVID-19 Booster Vaccination
JAKARTA - The manager of the Kampung Rambutan Terminal, East Jakarta, plans to open a third dose of COVID-19 vaccination booth or "booster" to serve passengers on the homecoming flow.
Head of Kampung Rambutan Bus Terminal, Yulza Ramadhoni, said his party would cooperate with the DKI Jakarta Health Service (Dinkes) in opening the COVID-19 vaccination booth.
"For 'booster' outlets, later we will cooperate further with the Health Service to provide 'booster' vaccine outlets for people who will go home," said Yulza Ramadhoni in Jakarta, Saturday.
However, his party appealed to prospective travelers to take the third dose of COVID-19 vaccination before returning to their hometown.
"So far ahead, we have done a 'booster', both which we will provide later at the terminal and in their respective environments such as at the Puskesmas," said Yulza.
If the "booster" vaccination is carried out before departure, it is feared that it will interfere with the physical condition of the homecomers because of the reaction it causes.
"We need to say that if we want to do a booster vaccine, we should do it well in advance so that there will be no AEFI for the community itself," said Yulza.
He said his party would also establish a homecoming post for Eid 2022 on April 25 to provide services and security for this year's homecoming flow.
"Preparing for the homecoming flow, we will prepare service posts or security posts on April 25 in collaboration with the police, TNI and Satpol PP," said Yulza.
