Residents Who Get COVID-19 Vaccinations In Garut City Center Get Cooking Oil, Booster Vaccine Recipients Increase Fast

GARUT - The Garut Resort Police and the Garut Regency Government, West Java, have dispatched a team of vaccinators and prepared free cooking oil as a gift for residents who take part in the COVID-19 vaccination in the urban area of Garut.

Garut Police Chief AKBP Wirdhanto Hadicaksono said the vaccination center was held in front of the BJB branch office Jalan Ahmad Yani, which is the center of the crowd in Garut.

"Those who are vaccinated are given free cooking oil," he said, quoted by Antara, Saturday, April 16.

According to him, the Garut Police as part of handling the COVID-19 outbreak seeks to boost the achievement of two and three doses of vaccination so that all levels of society are healthy.

The vaccination center that prepared the cooking oil prize, he said, was deliberately held in the city center because during Ramadan many people shopped or waited for the time to break their fast in Garut urban areas.

"We provide a vaccination site in this location so that it is easily accessible by the community," he said.

Meanwhile, Garut Regent Rudy Gunawan said the vaccinator team of the Garut Regency Government continued to carry out COVID-19 vaccinations during Ramadan to increase the achievement of three-dose or booster vaccinations ahead of Eid 2022.

"Yes 'booster' is now skyrocketing to 20 percent," he said.

He conveyed that his party held vaccinations in a number of places such as malls, public crowded places and in health centers.

People who have been vaccinated with dose 3, said the Regent, according to the central government's decision, are allowed to carry out activities outside the city, including going home for Eid.

"After the booster, it's safe, the booster can go anywhere," he said.
