Battlefield 2042 Update 4.0 Will Add 400+ Fixes Next Week
JAKARTA - DICE continues to update, support, and improve Battlefield 2042. Update 4.0 is coming next week adding over 400 fixes to the game.
According to a thread created by DICE Community Manager Kevin Johnson, these 400 updates include bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements starting with the Rao and Paik traits that will be updated.

“Sundance have also received some improvements to their Grenade Belts, allowing for better target acquisition of Anti-Armor Grenades around them than things away from the football field!” wrote Johnson.
The 4.0 update will also change the Ribbon, making it easier to open in all modes. What's more, XP for support actions and team play will be balanced with the aim of ensuring "teamwork remains king."
Vehicles also get attention. In addition, "Bugfixes to the ADS bug when getting out of the vehicle and restarting near obstacles is also present in this Update," he continued.
The 4.0 Battlefield 2042 update also makes changes to attachments with the aim of ensuring they feel unique and impact your loading and shooting choices.
This is just a small preview of what's to come in the 4.0 Battlefield 2042 update. The full patch notes will come early next week before the release. However, the official release date for the patch has yet to be revealed.
