NasDem: Even Though Ade Armando's Statement Is 'horrifyingly Delicious', But Narrative Replies To Narrative, Arrests Perpetrators Of Beatings
JAKARTA - NasDem Party politician Ahmad Sahroni urged the National Police to move quickly to arrest the perpetrator of the persecution of Ade Armando. The social media activist was attacked by a group of people during a student demonstration in front of the DPR building on Monday, April 11.
He also asked the police to focus on finding out who was involved in the violence.
“It was reported that the perpetrators of the violent act were not students, there were other persons. I hope they will be arrested and dealt with firmly," said Sahroni in Jakarta, Tuesday, April 12.
The deputy chairman of Commission III of the DPR hopes that this violent case will not become a provocation by irresponsible parties.
Because of this, Sahroni ensured that he, as the chairman of Commission III of the DPR, would oversee the case to completion.
According to him, whatever the reason, acts of violence cannot be tolerated, especially during demonstrations that voice their aspirations.
"I also sometimes don't agree with Ade Armando's 'horrifyingly delicious' statement. But in my opinion, narratives must be answered by narratives, not with insults, insults, terror, let alone violence," he said.
He also asked all parties not to be provoked by the incident of persecution experienced by Ade Armando.
