Jokowi's Relationship With Luhut And Bahlil Who Insist On Postponing Elections, Still Harmonious?

Social media activist Denny Siregar once revealed the secret of the relationship between Luhut and Jokowi on the CokroTV YouTube channel.

Denny said Luhut was loved by Jokowi because no matter what task he was given, Luhut could always translate it well.

Luhut and Jokowi's relationship can't be said to be old. The two had known each other for a dozen years when Luhut became a shareholder in Jokowi's furniture company, PT Rakabu Sejahtera.

"That's where their friendship began and they finally got to know each other. And it continued during the DKI gubernatorial election, Luhut was a person who was instrumental in building Jokowi's road to the top, even until he became president," explained Denny Siregar.

In addition, Denny added, Luhut used to be Jokowi's bumper when dealing with political dinosaurs that ruled the field.

Luhut was an ambassador to Singapore during the reign of President BJ Habibie and a minister in the Gus Dur era.

Luhut has carried out a number of heavy tasks at Jokowi's orders, including when he was appointed as Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs.

"The coordinating minister's position is not an easy position, the work position is very broad, with six ministries under him. In addition, he also has a tough task to bring in foreign investment. And that can only be done by people who have extraordinary management," said Denny again.

Luhut was also given the task of handling the chaos of the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia. Uniquely, Luhut did not ask Jokowi many questions but immediately carried out the tasks assigned to him. This is what, according to Denny, makes Jokowi dependent on Luhut.

"Because they work diligently, and find the right people to match their vision and mission to run the country," he explained.

Simply put, every time there is a problem, Jokowi will appoint Luhut to solve the problem.

"The point is that if Jokowi has a problem, he will definitely call the LBP, everything will be done," added Denny.

With the appointment of Luhut as Chair of the SDA Council, it means that there are 12 important positions held by the minister who was called by the LBP.

On Thursday, April 29, 2021, an official at the Palace said that Bahlil Lahadalia was appointed as Minister of Investment because he was considered to be able to solve problems.
