Mass Grave Of Ukrainian Citizens Found In Buzova, Village Near Kyiv
JAKARTA - A mass grave containing the bodies of dozens of Ukrainians was found Saturday, April 9 in Buzova, local officials said.
Buzova is a village near the capital Kyiv that was liberated after weeks of occupation by Russian troops.
Taras Didych, head of the Dmytrivka region which includes Buzova and several other villages, told Ukrainian TV that the bodies were found in a ditch near a petrol station.
The number of bodies has not been confirmed.
Didych said during the Russian occupation many civilians died on its territory.
Reuters, as reported by Antara, could not confirm the report.

When the Russian troops attacked Kyiv in the first weeks of their invasion, several residential areas around the capital, such as Makarov, Bucha, Irpin, and Dmytrivka were continuously attacked by them.
Local Ukrainian media reported in early April that about 30 victims had been found in and around Buzova.
Most towns and villages around Kyiv have been cleared of Russian troops, but the discovery of mass graves and civilian casualties, especially in Bucha, has sparked a wave of international condemnation.
On Saturday, President Volodymyr Zelensky said although the threat to Kyiv had diminished, Ukraine was prepared to face tough battles in the east of the country.
The Ukrainian government has urged residents in the region to evacuate.
