Attract Young Customers, Bank Bukopin Makes Aespa Brand Ambassador
JAKARTA - The South Korean girl group AESPA has been officially appointed as a brand ambassador by one of Indonesia's private banks, Bank BK Bukopin. This aespa appointment is KB Bukopin's rebranding strategy this year to improve the company's brand image.
"KB Bukopin wants to continue the company's momentum to the next level by making AESPA the Brand Ambassador of KB Bukopin this year," said KB Bukopin President Director Chang Su Choi, quoted from ANTARA, Saturday, April 9.
Choi hopes that the collaboration between KB Bukopin and AESPA can also be used to attract the interest of MY Indonesia (as AESPA fans) as part of AESPA to become a potential marketing media for the millennial generation.
"Aespa is considered a potential girl group that can represent the millennial generation and has a large influence and fanbase to promote a brand or product in Indonesia," said Choi.
Since its debut, AESPA has captured the attention of K-POP fans all over the world. Aespa's name continues to soar in the world of K-POP music. No wonder Aespa is dubbed the "Monster Rookie". This is why Bank KB Bukopin has appointed AESPA as a Brand Ambassador.
aespa, which was formed by SM Entertainment, consists of Karina, Giselle, Winter, and Ningning. aespa made their debut on November 17, 2020 with the single “Black Mamba”. The MV of this song was watched 1 million times in 3 days.
It was the fastest record for a debut song MV in the history of a K-POP group and was listed on the Billboard chart and ranked number 1 on Billboard QQ Music China.
aespa won their first award on SBS Inkigayo on January 17, 2021. In February 2021, aespa released a remake of singer Yoo Young-Jin's song "Forever".
Then in May 2021, aespa also released an energetic hip-hop dance single with the title "Next Level". Thanks to its popularity, aespa also signed a contract with the Creative Artists Agency for their activities in the United States.
