720 Kg Of Wild Boar Meat Without Documents Confiscated By The Police At Bakauheni Port, Planned To Be Sent To Bekasi
LAMPUNG SELATAN - The Bakauheni Port Sector Police (KSKP), South Lampung, Lampung Province, confiscated wild boar (boar) meat without any legal documents while at the entrance to the Seaport Interduction Bakauheni Port.
"We managed to secure wild boar meat without legal documents on Wednesday, April 6, 2022," said Head of the Bakauheni KSKP, AKP Ridho Rafika in South Lampung, Antara, Thursday, April 7.
He said that at around 05.00 WIB, members inspected a white minibus vehicle with police number B 9790 NRU driven by Steven Tobalie Situmorang and Robery Hardianto Pasaribu, residents of South Bengkulu.
"After inspection, we found as much as 720 kilograms of wild boar meat without any legal documents," he said.
Ridho added that the goods were transported from the Manak Masat area, South Bengkulu and will be sent to the Bekasi area, West Java.
"The illegal wild boar meat was transported from Bintang's warehouse located in Manak Masat, South Bengkulu and will be sent to the Bekasi area,"
He said that based on the driver's information, they received a salary of Rp. 1 million after the delivered goods arrived at their destination.
"For their actions, they are subject to Article 88 letters a and c of the Republic of Indonesia Law No. 21 of 2019 concerning Animal, Fish and Plant Quarantine," he said.
