It Was Only Discovered By Garut Residents In The Morning, The Ambulance Driver Was Finally Evacuated To The Health Center After The Car Entered The Ravine

GARUT - An ambulance fell into a ravine in Mekarmukti District, Garut Regency, West Java. The driver suffered injuries and received medical treatment.

"It was a single accident, there were no fatalities, only injuries," said Head of the Garut Police Traffic Unit, AKP Law Syarif Hidayat in Garut, Antara, Thursday, April 7.

He conveyed that the Garut Police Traffic Accident Unit team had been dispatched to process the crime scene and evacuate the ambulance. "The car has been evacuated," he said.

A member of the Mekarmukti District Satpol PP, Musa, said the ambulance belonging to Bungbulang Village fell into a deep ravine in Tanjakan Eras, Cijayana Village, Mekarmukti District, Wednesday night.

However, residents only found out about the incident in the morning and then helped the driver to get medical treatment at the Mekarmukti Health Center.

"The driver survived, he survived the night alone on the edge of a cliff, only found this morning," he said.

The single accident is still under investigation by the police to determine the cause, but it is suspected that the car was unable to pass through an incline and then backed away and fell into a ravine.
