Visiting Villages And Sub-districts, Denpasar City Government Continues To Intensify Booster Vaccinations

BALI - The Denpasar City Government, Bali continues to accelerate the COVID-19 booster vaccination by visiting villages or sub-districts in its area.

"The Denpasar City Government continues to intensively carry out vaccinations. This time, the vaccination will be held at the Padangsambian Village Hall, West Denpasar District," said Denpasar City COVID-19 Task Force spokesman I Dewa Gede Rai in Denpasar, Wednesday April 6.

The Lurah of Padangsambian, I Ketut Alit Artika, said that the implementation of the booster vaccination is one of the efforts to support the government in accelerating vaccine coverage in Denpasar City.

He said that in carrying out this vaccination, his party together with the TNI, Polri, and health workers are targeting as many as 500 people to be vaccinated with the Astrazeneca vaccine. Good socialization to the community, the implementation of the vaccine this time went smoothly and the number of people vaccinated was 357 people.

"Actually, many people have come to get vaccination services, but many have not passed the screening, such as high blood pressure, there are people's health conditions that are not fit so they do not meet the requirements to be vaccinated," he continued, launching Antara.

He hopes that the implementation of this vaccination can speed up vaccination coverage in Denpasar City so that it can accelerate the formation of group immunity in the community, especially in Denpasar City.
