Visiting The 1.000 Ton Nuclear Submarine, The KSAL Invites South Korea To Strengthen Military Cooperation
JAKARTA - Indonesia invites South Korea (South Korea) to strengthen cooperative relations through military diplomacy. This was conveyed by the Chief of Naval Staff (KSAL) Admiral Yudo Margono while visiting the Chief of Naval Operations of the Republic of Korea Navy/South Korean Chief of Staff Admiral Kim Jung Soo.
The visit took place at the South Korean Naval Academy, Jinhae, South Korea, Saturday, April 2. In the meeting, Yudo and Kim discussed cooperation in various fields, including issues of maritime security stability, education, officer exchange, and naval defense cooperation between the two countries.
Including the planned implementation of the Navy To Navy Talk (NTNT), which was previously held once every two years to be upgraded to once a year. Admiral Yudo also had the opportunity to visit South Korean submarines weighing 1,800 tons and tactical training facilities for submarine crews at the South Korean Navy Submarine Command.

Yudo also had the opportunity to visit a nuclear submarine that weighs 1,000 tons and several weapons at the Jinhae Submarine Base Port. Yudo then attended an event organized by Admiral Kim at the Marine training ground at Yeon Battalion in Haesa. The two talked in depth about the cooperation agenda, such as officer exchanges and defense cooperation.
During the visit, KSAL was accompanied by Assistant Operations (Asops) KSAL Admiral TNI Dadi Hartanto, and Assistant Intelligence (Asintel) KSAL Admiral National Armed Forces (TNI) Angkasa Dipua, and General Chairperson of Jalasenastri Ny. Vero Yudo Margono.
