Gimcheon's Goal To The Indonesian U-19 National Team Goal Due To Decreased Player Concentration, Shin Tae-yong: No Need To Worry
JAKARTA - The U-19 Indonesian national team played with a score of 2-2 against Gimcheon FC in a test match at the Auxiliary Mini Stadium, Daegu, South Korea, Tuesday 5 April. The national team coach, Shin Tae-yong considered the team's performance to be very good today.
Subhan Fajri scored two goals for the Indonesian U-19 national team in the 37th minute and in the 57th minute it was Muhammad Rafli Asrul's turn to score against Gimcheon FC. Shin Tae-yong assesses that his foster children are getting better.
"Indeed, there are many opportunities to score goals, but they cannot be used properly, let alone conceding the second goal that we did not predict beforehand," said the coach of the U-19 Indonesia National Team, as quoted on the official PSSI website.
Conceding two goals against Gimcheon is a shame for Shin Tae-yong. Goals that occur due to decreased concentration due to physical players who are not perfect.
However, according to the South Korean coach, this is nothing to worry about. All these shortcomings can be corrected in the future.
"Because the physicality is still lacking, the players' focus automatically drops too, and that can be improved. We will always prepare the team better every time there is a test," he said.
The match against Gimcheon was the fourth trial for the U-19 Indonesian National Team while in Korea. Previously, they lost 1-5 to Yeungnam University, 0-7 to South Korea U-19, won 2-1 against Daegu University and lost again 1-5 to South Korea U-19.
Furthermore, the U-19 Indonesian National Team will play a test match against Pohang on April 6 and Daegu FC on April 7.
