Riza Patria Calls Taufik's Removing From The Deputy Chair Of The DKI DPRD On The Order Of DPP Gerindra

JAKARTA - Chair of the DKI Jakarta Gerindra DPD Ahmad Riza Patria said the removal of Mohamad Taufik from the position of Deputy Chair of the DKI Jakarta DPRD was not his will. This removal is an order from the Central Executive Board (DPP) Gerindra.

"Regarding the replacement of Mr. Taufik, it is from the DPP. We, the DPD, carry out what has been ordered from the DPP," said Riza when met at the DKI Jakarta DPRD Building, Tuesday, April 5.

Riza also denied that Taufik's removal from the DPRD leadership position was because the Advisory Chair of the Jakarta Gerindra DPD had prayed for Anies Baswedan to become president in the future.

"No (removed Taufik for praying for Anies)," answered Riza when met at the DKI Jakarta City Hall, Monday, April 4.

Riza himself views Taufik as a politician who has helped raise Gerindra's name since the beginning of Prabowo Subianto's party.

Taufik also has an important role in his party, namely being the chairman of the DPD Gerindra DKI before being replaced by Riza, and now serving as the chairman of the Advisory Council of the DPD Gerindra DKI.

"Mr. Taufik has been around since the party was founded for 13 years leading in DKI Jakarta and has led the DPD for two periods, has served two terms in the leadership of the DPRD, has succeeded in increasing seat acquisition, and he has also succeeded in delivering two pairs of regional election candidates, Jokowi-Ahok and Anies. -Password," he explained.

In this regard, the chairman of the Gerindra Party DPP Desmond J. Mahesa had opened his voice when news developed that Taufik would change parties due to an internal conflict in Gerindra. Desmond sees Taufik as useless.

"Yes, I support him moving to Nasdem. I support him, indeed he (Taufik) is useless at Gerindra. If it is useful, he will definitely stay, right," said Desmond.
