Sony Partners With Over 200 Game Publishers For PlayStation Plus Service Content
JAKARTA - The revamped PlayStation Plus will feel different from its competitor, Xbox Game Pass. Sony recently said that they have no plans to launch first-party games on the service release day and date.
Collectively, PlayStation Plus will offer subscribers over 700 games. Of course, there are still many question marks, especially those related to libraries. There are some big names that will be part of the PS Plus Extra lineup, while Sony has said that the Extra and Premium tiers will have games from "every major publisher".
Recently, however, PlayStation CEO Jim Ryan gave further reassurance on the official PlayStation podcast, saying that the revamped PS Plus lineup would be "very strong", with over 200 publishers allegedly involved.
"We have a huge publisher participation in this program, we have all the big names in attendance," Ryan said as quoted by VGC.

“We have big publishers, we have small indie publishers. We have over 200 partners working with us to get their content onto PlayStation Plus, so the lineup is going to be very strong."
The new PlayStation Plus service won't launch until June, so Sony still has a few months ahead where it's likely to share details on what the game catalog will look like on both tiers.
