Apart from that, Wong also attached a screenshot of the Twitter Android app, where the new text selection feature has appeared.

Reporting Android Police, Monday, April 4, Twitter for Android is lacking in terms of easy text selection, but users have found a way to get around this problem using Overview Selection, a useful feature that allows users to select text from any screen to copy and paste.

However, according to podcaster and Android expert Mishaal Rahman, the Overview Selection feature is only available on a minority of phones.

In fact, those who have been using Google Pixel phones have selected text in the Twitter Android app via the Overview Selection feature.

Now it's time Twitter decided to find a way for users to select and copy text from the Android version of its app, and not make it a paid feature. It is not known for sure when the text selection feature will roll out to all users.
