Immanuel Ebenezer: Touched To Be Hugged By Munarman: Terrorists Have No Sense Of Humanity, Especially Since I'm A Christian!

JAKARTA - Head of Volunteer Jokowi Mania (JoMan) Immanuel Ebenezer or Noel candidly chatted with Munarman, a defendant in a terrorism case that he defended some time ago. Noel was presented by the prosecutor in his capacity as a witness against Munarman.

Noel admitted that he was touched because he was hugged by Munarman. Munarman said he was worried because Noel's willingness to be a witness would have a negative impact on his position as the main commissioner of the state-owned subsidiary of PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero), PT Mega Eltra.

"Munarman hugged me, he was even worried about my position. That surprised me. If a terrorist certainly has no sense of humanity, moreover I am a Christian. He knows I am a Christian because I am Immanuel," Noel said. , Tuesday, March 29.

Munarman's concern seems to have been proven. Currently Noel has been fired from his position as the main commissioner. According to Noel, his presence as a witness was merely a form of reconciliation.

He did not want the next General Election (Election) to occur sharp divisions in society. Such terms are often used today, namely cebong for supporters of the government and kampret as opposed to government.

"I want to show that I am Indonesia, I am Pancasila, so I defend my friend. I relieve my friend in the case that it is a constitutional right. That is Indonesia, that is Pancasila, humanity, justice, unity and so on," said Noel.

Noel was surprised if the reconciliation goal that he was fighting for was given a negative response and even insults. Most annoyingly, Noel is then slandered as part of the terrorist itself.

"I practice the ideology I profess today but I was slandered, I am a terrorist supporting the caliphate, kadrun and so on. In fact, the last one is called new kadrun, or new variant kadrun," explained Noel.

For this situation, Noel asked President Joko Widodo to be brave enough to pay attention to the divisions that still exist even though the 2019 election has passed.
