President Jokowi Appreciates The 2022 MotoGP Security
MATARAM - West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police Chief, Inspector General of Police Djoko Poerwanto, said that securing the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia or MotoGP 2022 was appreciated by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).
"With great pride, the President of the Republic of Indonesia expresses his appreciation, respect, and gratitude to all NTB residents, including the NTB Regional Police and the ranks who have carried out the 2022 MotoGP security successfully", he said, in Mataram, Friday, March 25.
Djoko acknowledged that the appreciation was conveyed by the President of the Republic of Indonesia through the Head of the Presidential Secretariat of the Republic of Indonesia.
In addition, Djoko said he received a speech from the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo regarding the security of the 2022 MotoGP.
"I received two greetings in the form of WhatsApp messages directly from the National Police Chief", he said.
On Sunday 20 March evening, at the end of the 2022 MotoGP event, the National Police Chief via a short message to the NTB Police Chief conveyed his success and gratitude.

"That's the first message. Second, it was conveyed last Thursday, March 24, the message contained, please convey my gratitude again to the NTB Police personnel and all police officers", he said, quoted by Antara.
With this appreciation, Djoko saw that the NTB Police and all staff were able to carry out security well in international activities.
"Through the security of the 2022 MotoGP yesterday, we (NTB Police and the Police) have been able to prove that our cooperation is solid, hard-working, sincere, and can produce extraordinary work. This means that this hard work does not lie to the results", said Djoko.
Even so, he made sure the future would be even better. This will be refined by evaluating the MotoGP security activities which will take place March 18-20 2022.
"In the future, there will definitely be an evaluation to make it even better with the current good conditions", he said.
