Cases Declining, Wisma Atlet Kemayoran Plans To Only Operate One Tower
JAKARTA - The Coordinator of the COVID-19 Emergency Hospital (RSDC) of Wisma Athletes Kemayoran Major General National Armed Forces (TNI) Budiman stated that his party would close several towers and leave only one tower used for COVID-19 patients.
This, said Budiman, was motivated by the condition of the COVID-19 case which continued to decline and more cases were self-isolating because the symptoms were mild and asymptomatic.
"It is possible that when the number of patients decreases, we will only concentrate on one tower," Budiman said in Jakarta, Thursday, March 24.
However, Budiman revealed that the plan to operate one tower is not certain when it will be carried out. Bearing in mind, there are a number of considerations, namely the mechanism for moving medical devices from the tower that will be closed.
"The consequence is that some equipment, such as the ICU is in tower 6, so we have to move it. So, there are adjustments to the facilities and infrastructure," he said.
It is known that the number of patients being treated at the Wisma Atlet Kemayoran Hospital, Jakarta, Thursday, March 24, decreased by 79 people compared to the previous day or Wednesday, March 23.
