The Stranded Actor, Beam Papangkorn Dies At The Age Of 25
JAKARTA - Actor Beam Papangkorn Rerkchaleampote passed away on Wednesday, March 23, Thailand time. Citing Thairath, he was found unconscious in his room.
The family tried to wake up the sleeping Beam but there was no response from the actor. When they took Beam to the hospital, he was declared dead. The exact cause of Beam's death is not yet known.
This news shocked the Thai entertainment industry considering that Beam died at the young age of 25.
Beam Papangkorn Rerkchaleampote is an actor born August 31, 1996 who started his career by acting in Nong Mai Rai Borisut in 2001. He got the main role through his first play.
After that he began to star in several titles until The Stranded which successfully popularized his name internationally. Beam plays Kramm, one of the children trapped in the tsunami.
He also played Meuk in the film Water Boyy: The Movie. This film is a debut in the world of cinema which began in 2015.
The last drama he played in was Duang Jai Nai Montra in 2021. Beam was also confirmed to star in the unreleased Prom Likit.
This sad news was also felt by fans and public figures. Condolences started pouring in on Beam's Instagram. Ngern Anupart Luangsodsai, Beam's co-star in Water Boyy, uploaded a photo to commemorate Beam Papangkorn.
"I didn't expect this to happen. At least you and I are in each other's life. I love making friends, working, traveling with you. I want to work with you again but there is no chance. Don't worry my friend. Rest my friend," Ngern wrote.
"Rest in peace," wrote Meiko Chonnikan.
"Rest in peace, okay. Let's play music again," wrote Krist Nurse.
