Thousands Of Solo Teachers And Students Haven't Complete Vaccination, Gibran: 100 Percent PTM, While Walking Ojo Speeds

JAKARTA - The Surakarta City Government will immediately resolve the shortage of teacher and student vaccinations so that the implementation of 100 percent face-to-face learning (PTM) begins immediately.

Surakarta Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka in Solo, Tuesday admitted that until now not all teachers and students have received the complete vaccine.

"There are scattered, I see there are around 3,600 targets (scattered)," said Gibran, Tuesday, March 22, quoted from Antara.

He said there was a possibility that teachers and students who had not received the complete vaccine had been exposed to COVID-19 when there was an increase in the number of active cases in Solo some time ago.

"Yesterday, there were a lot of people who were exposed, maybe those (who haven't received the complete vaccine) were exposed," continued Gibran.

Even though many are currently exposed, he said, PTM is still running while still implementing restrictions.

"At that time, most of those affected were elementary and junior high schools," he said.

Asked about the target for the implementation of 100 percent PTM, he said that it would not be implemented in the near future.

"Wait a minute, we're still level three. While walking, Ojo is too fast (not too fast). This (vaccine) is completed first," he said.
