Malls And Places Of Worship Can Operate 100 Percent In PPKM Level 1 Region
JAKARTA - Areas that have implemented Level 1 restrictions on community activities (PPKM) are now looser. Malls and places of worship can operate 100 percent in this area.
This is regulated in the Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs (Inmendagri) Number 18 of 2022 concerning PPKM Level 3, Level 2, Level 1 COVID-19 in the Java-Bali region. This rule is valid from March 22 to April 4.
"For regional regulations with level 1, such as cinemas, malls, factories, places of worship, 100 percent of the time, except for receptions, the implementation is limited to a maximum capacity of 75 percent," said Director General of Regional Administration of the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) Safrizal in a written statement, Tuesday, March 22.
Next, non-essential sectors are now allowed to work 100 percent from the office as well as essential sectors consisting of finance, capital markets, information technology to non-quarantine hotels.
Meanwhile, for office administration services for the financial sector and export-oriented industries, said Safrizal, 75 percent can operate. "Meanwhile, in the critical sector, supermarkets and hypermarkets can operate 100 percent," he said.
Still in the easing of PPKM Level 1, dine-in activities are now allowed to be open until 22.00 WIB with 100 percent capacity. Meanwhile, restaurants, restaurants, cafes with operating hours starting from 18.00 can operate until 00.00 with a capacity of 75 percent.

The areas that apply PPKM Level 1 are Pangandaran Regency, Surabaya City, Mojokerto City, Tuban Regency, Mojokerto Regency, and Regency Lamongan.
Furthermore, Safrizal reminded the public and all parties to remain vigilant about COVID-19 even though the PPKM level has now decreased in various regions. In addition, the strengthening of the COVID-19 vaccine must also be carried out.
"Of course we must always act wisely without reducing the meaning of our vigilance by continuing to strive to strengthen vaccination achievements, including giving a third injection or booster," he concluded.
