Farmer Named Sangkala Disappears In Batu Putih Village Forest, East Luwu, Joint Basarnas Conduct Search
KENDARI - The search and rescue office team or the joint Basarnas of Kendari, Southeast Sulawesi are looking for farmers who were reported missing in the forest of Batu Putih Village, Burau District, East Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi Province.
A farmer named Sangkala (36) was reported missing last Saturday at around 17.20 WITA through the Kendari Search and Rescue Office (KPP) Command Center.
Reporting from Antara, Sunday, March 20, Batu Putih Village Secretary Andika reported that there had been a dangerous condition for humans, namely missing people in the forest of Batu Putih Village, Burau District, East Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi Province.
The location of the incident is still within the working area of KPP Kendari. Based on the report, at 17:35 WITA the rescue team of the East Luwu SAR alert unit along with the potential for SAR was dispatched to the accident site to provide SAR assistance.
The distance between the accident site and the East Luwu SAR Alert Unit is about 68 km.
At 07.30 WITA the victim said goodbye to go to the garden with a machete and drinking water.
The habit of the victim at 11.00 WITA always went home for lunch, but until after that hour, the victim had not returned home.
The victim's family took the initiative to search and upon arrival at the garden, the victim was not there and only water supplies belonging to the victim were found.
A search has been carried out by the family with no results until this information was received on the evening of Sunday, March 20.
