Arriving At The Mandalika Circuit, President Jokowi Greets MotoGP Spectators From The Royal Box
JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) has arrived at the Mandalika Circuit, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). Joko Widodo's arrival was welcomed by the Mandalika MotoGP Field Commander, Hadi Tjahjanto.
Arriving there, Jokowi then headed to the royal box and immediately greeted the audience who were already in the stands. The Royal Box at Mandalika was right in front of the finish line.
As is known, the royal box prepared for the Jokowi family is equipped with various special facilities, including a television and a sofa.
A number of officials accompanying Jokowi include the Chair of the MPR RI, Bambang Soesatyo, the Chairperson of the DPR RI Puan Maharani, the Chair of the Wantimpres Wiranto, a number of Ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet, and the Governor of NTB Zulkieflimansyah.
Shortly after Jokowi arrived, it was raining in the Mandalika Circuit area. In the official MotoGP website, the title race was postponed, which was originally held at 14.00 WIB, to 16.00 local time.
For information, Jokowi has flown from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport at around 10.30 WIB. Jokowi will hand over the trophy directly to the MotoGP 1st, 2nd and 3rd champions in the afternoon.
After that, Jokowi will head to Lombok Zainuddin Abdul Madjid International Airport and take off to I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Badung Regency, Bali Province.
In Bali, Jokowi will inaugurate the opening of the 144th Session of The Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) and other related sessions which will be held at Mangunpura Hall, Bali International Convention Center (BICC), Badung Regency.
Furthermore, Jokowi is also planned to hold a meeting with the Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, Park Byeong-seug. After that, Jokowi will fly back to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Tangerang.
