Skid Row's New Album Becomes The First With Ex-Dragonforce Vocalist, ZP Theart
JAKARTA - Skid Row guitarist Dave "Snake" Sabo confirmed to Loaded Radio's Scott Penfold that the first single from his band's new album will arrive later this month.
Skid Row recorded this new full-length album in Nashville, Tennessee with producer Nick Raskulinecz, who previously worked with Foo Fighters, Stone Sour, Halestorm, Evanescence, Rush and Alice In Chains.
"We are very happy, of course," said Snake as quoted from Blabbermouth, Sunday, March 20.
"It took a long time working on this album. But the prospect of working with a guy like Nick Raskulinecz is something that... you're in this business and suddenly it gives you a gift. And that gift is Nick," Snake continued.
"And Nick is someone we really respect before we even met him. His resume speaks for itself. I never realized how talented he is as a musician, producer, songwriter, engineer. He's good at so many things."
Last month, Snake told The Music Universe, Skid Rown's new album will be released on September 16 with the first single coming sometime in the second or third week of March.
Skid Row's new venture will mark their first release with South African-born, UK-based vocalist ZP Theart (Dragonforce, Tank, I Am), who joined the band in 2016 following the departure of Tony Harnell (TNT, Starbreaker).
Skid Row's new album is the follow-up to two EPs; Rise Of The Damnation Army - United World Rebellion: Chapter One (2013) and United World Rebellion: Chapter Two (2014). Its release was made through earMUSIC, the music record label of the German entertainment group Edel AG.
